Mayowa is a seasoned litigator and is vast in commercial practice. Mayowa was called to the bar in 2006 after graduating from the University of Ibadan in 2005. Mayowa started his career at Offa where he served as the Legislative Council lawyer of Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State and within the same period worked in the law firm of B.F. Lawal and Co where he garnered a rich experience in litigation, representing clients in virtually all the courts in Kwara State. After the one-year mandatory youth service in Offa, he immediately joined the law firm of B.A. Ayorinde and Co where he was exposed to other areas of law practice including both litigation and commercial law.

Subsequently he joined the law firm of Paul Usoro & Co with specialty in Telecommunications, Maritime and varying other commercial practice areas, and was able to harness these varied experiences to deliver exceptional legal service to clients. Later, Mayowa joined Wuyi Adeyemo and Co and he presently heads the Lagos office of the firm.
